Meet Coach Emma
Coach Emma is a Grant Park native and ANCS Alum who spent most of her time growing up playing basketball. At ANCS, she played shooting guard during the top years of the Lady Wolves basketball program. She continued her basketball journey as a 3-point specialist for St. Pius X in high school and recored a 960-point career with a 39-point career high. She also played AAU for the Georgia Pistols. She then went on to play at Georgia State University. However, during COVID, she transferred to Mercer University and decided to focus on her education. At Mercer, she discovered a new passion and spent all of her newfound free time without basketball building an international non-profit with the University. This nonprofit focused on empowering survivors of the Rwandan genocide by bringing their handmade goods into the global marketplace through e-commerce. She graduated with a degree in marketing and management and was awarded the Stetson-Hatcher School of Business Global Citizen Award. She continued her education at Mercer and completed her MBA with a concentration in global business. During the week, she works in digital merchandising for an HR incentives company.
